Shawmut Design and Construction renovated a three-story facility for retail use, including this tenant improvement for an Apple Computer retail store. The client contacted us to help provide an energy efficient system that provided flexibility and comfort for the retail store’s occupants.
Solutions
We provided a new HVAC system for the space, including:
- ductwork
- hydronic piping
- pumps
- fans
- variable frequency drives, and
- split system air conditioning units
We manufactured sheet metal ductwork tailored to this project’s specifications and installed a leading-edge building management system to further increase efficiency. Additional efficiency measures included the use of radiant heat and chilled beams.
