Value Delivered

Dan is responsible for assisting project management with identifying key success factors, coordinating design and procurement of deliverables, and establishing common work breakdown structures.  He evaluates duct work installations for compliance with contract, design data, schedule, budget, and quality standards and also performs material takeoff, ordering tools and equipment in a timely fashion to help maximize field productivity.

A key safety leader, Dan monitors the implementation of safety orientation, as well as structure sizing, crew mix ratio, and wage compliance to help ensure all on-site employees comply with OSHA standards. As part of his commitment to employee development, Dan also provides coaching and mentoring to his team and is involved in evaluating apprenticeships.

Expertise

Dan has nearly three decades of HVAC experience and takes pride in being a fourth-generation member of Sheet Metal Workers Local 28. Starting his career working in the shop and field with us, Dan has built his career at Heritage, going from Apprentice to Journeyman to Field Foreman and eventually into his current position.

In his time on our team, Dan has worked in schools, commercial buildings, luxury apartments, hospitals, courthouses, and more on multi-million-dollar projects. He has served as foreman for some of our highest profile projects, including work at the new World Trade Center complex and on Stony Brook University Hospital’s emergency COVID-19 center.

In 2016, Dan’s expertise, hard work, and willingness to go the extra mile earned him Heritage’s highest recognition of success: the MVP Award.
