As Chief Estimator, Vishnu reviews project plans, specifications, scopes of work, and vendor and subcontractor quotes in order to develop cost-effective pricing for a competitive and successful bid proposal.
After a proposal has been presented to the customer, Vishnu is involved in the scope review process, making appropriate revisions, and assisting with the final negotiations until the project is awarded.
In addition, Vishnu assists in training Junior Estimators. He helps them collect and present their information and analyzes their work prior to reviewing the bid with the Director of Pre-construction.
Expertise
Since joining Heritage in 2008, Vishnu has created estimates for a wide array of projects. He is proficient in Trimble Autobid Systems and was promoted to Chief Estimator in 2017.
Vishnu has attended New York Institute of Technology, Queens College, and has a diploma from Universal Technical Institute.
