Rob helps to ensure that every project is based on sound design, accurate drawings, and high-quality components. In the drafting department, Rob and his team convert engineering, architectural, and other drawings for use in the fabrication department.
He oversees the piping and sheet metal fabrication work. His responsibilities include setting prices, monitoring budgets and schedules, reviewing product quality, and ensuring that all components are delivered on time to customers and job sites.
In addition, Rob is continuously updating the firm’s drafting skills, and purchasing the technologies and materials needed to help ensure optimum output through the drafting and engineering process.
Expertise
Rob is a second-generation sheet metal worker in Local 28 and brings over 19 years of experience to his job. He began his career in Heritage’s sheet metal shop and in the field.
He has been an integral member of our drafting department for the past 15 years and was promoted to Head Draftsman in 2014 and to Director of Drafting and Engineering in 2021.
Rob’s expertise in CAD and 3D mechanical drafting plays a significant role in Heritage’s success. He assists in the design process to help ensure the job is done efficiently, while always considering the best way to fabricate and install the components.
In 2015, Rob’s expertise, hard work, and willingness to go the extra mile earned him Heritage’s highest recognition of success, the MVP Award.
The Personal Side
Rob enjoys spending his free time with his family and friends. He is an avid baseball fan who also enjoys golf and fishing.
