General Superintendent
As General Superintendent, Piping Operations, Greg assists project management to identify key success factors, coordinate timing of design and procurement of deliverables, and establish common work breakdown structures.
He evaluates piping installation for compliance to contract, design data, schedule, budget, and quality standards. Greg performs material takeoff, ordering tools and equipment in a timely fashion to maximize field productivity.
Greg monitors the implementation of safety orientation and provides coaching and mentoring for employee development. He helps to ensure all on-site employees comply with OSHA standards while monitoring structure sizing, crew mix ratio, and wage compliance. He is also involved in evaluating apprenticeships.
Greg has worked in the HVAC business for over 30 years, 24 with Heritage. He has worked on many fast-paced projects, schools, commercial buildings, luxury apartments, hospitals, research laboratories, and wastewater plants ranging from $500,000 to $30 million.
Greg has served as Foreman for major projects. He is a certified welder in B31.1, B31.9 API 1104 and holds a NY State structural welding license.
Greg and his wife have two children. During his spare time, he enjoys spending time boating and offshore fishing.
